Snohomish Slew, a frognosticating bullfrog, once hosted the annual Groundfrog Day weather forecast in downtown Snohomish, prompting much rejoicing. From Thayer Cueter, Slew’s handler: “The pinnacle celebration moment [was] when Slew whispered his frogcast to his favourite scribe in Groundfrogese. [The] gathered crowd was ribbeted(!) by every transcribed word from Slew as he accurately predicted our winter weather fate for six more weeks.”
