Queen City Charlie
About Charlie
Queen City Charlie is a prognosticating person in a groundhog suit who makes an annual prediction for the city of Cumberland, Maryland. Charlie (pictured, right) is a political animal whose predictive press releases are made at City Hall Plaza by the mayor, who Charlie is frequently pictured next to. Charlie is a person-sized replacement for Mountain Maryland Murray, the city’s former furry prognosticator who retired in 2021.
