About Bill

Bowman Bill is the resident puppet prognosticator at Bowman Library, in Stephens City, Virginia. Bill’s Groundhog Day ceremony includes awards, crafts, stories and ice cream: if Bill sees his shadow, the ice cream is topped with chocolate sauce. Not one to hog the limelight, Bill shares his Groundhog Day with two live groundhogs, Tiva and Luna, who come to the library to observe Bill’s technique first hand.
