Yahdee the groundhog is a taxidermied groundhog and official prognosticator for the Groundhog Lodge No. 16 in Orefield, Pennsylvania. As a taxidermied groundhog, Yahdee can be a bit stiff in the cold February mornings, which is why he prefers rafting down the Jordan river or sleighing up to the ceremony with his nephew, Lee. Yahdee may only be 16 but his very distinguished top hat makes him look more grown up. Yahdee’s Groundhog Day predictions are a sight to behold, attracting attendees from as far away as Kutztown and Schnecksville.
